Miami Yacht Watch: The 250-foot ‘Stad Amsterdam’

With a nude woman on its bow

Miami is a common host for extravagant yachts at all times of the year. Track these magnificent vessels and their outlandish toys with Miami Yacht Watch, which typically runs weekly on Curbed Miami

The 250-foot ‘Stad Amsterdam’ has docked in Miami at Island Gardens Marina on Watson Island.

Built in 2000, the three-masted schooner sail yacht sleeps 28 guests and charters for around $102,500 per week. She was modeled after the mid mid-19th century warship “Amsterdam” and has a max speed of 17 knots.

Additionally there’s a statue on its bow of a nude woman, who actually kind of resembles Melisandre from Game of Thrones. We’ve inserted a clipped photo of her below.
